Arlene and I are both extremely busy girls, from working and going to school, to prepping for bikini competitions and working on becoming a personal trainer, sometimes we become guilty of wearing workout clothes pretty much everywhere. I know personally, you can catch me wearing yoga or running tights EVERY DAY (Sadly, this is not an exaggeration). Workout gear is made to be super comfortable, and when you're on a time crunch why not rock it? The downside is that sometimes it looks sloppy so we decided to create a segment that shows you how to style your gym garments casually so that you can double up your days from going to the gym, to going to work, or school, or running errands and keep you looking cute.
Product Spotlight: Nike Legendary Tight
The Nike Legendary Tight is a great pick for hitting the gym. The Dri-FIT nylon spandex has just the right amount of compression to keep everything in place while you work out but it's also comfortable enough to wear out casually. The amazing fabric wicks sweat and dries fast. The only downside to this tight is that it does not include an internal drawstring so they will fall down while running or engaging in other high impact activities.
Gym Style:
I wore the Athleta fast track tank to the gym this morning, this tank is super cute and light and has some ultra flattering ruching that looks great on all body types. This tank also has polygiene fibers which are anti-microbial and makes it so that you can wear it several times without it smelling. To finish off my leg day look I threw on this hoodie which is also super light which is nice to have after the gym but it also keeps you warm enough.
Casual Style:
For my casual look, I topped my tights with this sweater from Guess. This sweater is really cute, its slouchy and comfortable but at the same time it doesn't look messy. Since it looks like it might rain, I brought out my rain boots. They have a different silhouette than your normal run-of-the-mill rain boots so they definitely dress up the look a bit more. To finish it off I put on a warm coat for when I'm not inside.
